Hip Hop album

Our group task is to design a digipack for a new artist under the genre of R&B/hip hop. From research, most hip hop artists tend to be black and mostly male. Album covers depict rough urban areas such as old buildings with graffiti on walls. Others include dark colours with flags and cities, which suggests a rough area, probably in America, which is where most hip hop artists come from. 

Below is an example of a hip hop album front cover by Dr.Dre – ‘The Chronic’, which uses Lego to depict the artist. Lego is associated for being popular with children, by using it for a black hip hop artist makes the Lego brand seem rebellious and urban
